Drew

Soooo behind on my posts.  Here are pictures of Drew on her month birthdays!  And not really on the day because I always forget.  Poor Drew.  She will be spoiled one day when her brothers and sister are gone at college and she is the only left at home...well, that is what I tell myself so I don't feel so bad.

8 Months Old

 9 Months Old
10 Months Old
She was in the 95% for her height and only 25% for her weight.  She came in weighing a whopping 17 lbs!  Tripp weighed more than that when he was 3 months old.
And...had to try for a picture of the 4 of them.
Never works out real well, but its not too bad.
Riley insisted that her dog be in the picture too.

Halloween

Happy Halloween from Bumblebee,Optimus Prime, Starsong and my little ladybug!
This picture cracks me up because I asked Cash and Riley to hold onto Drew so she didn't crawl away.  Riley grabbed her by her "antennae".
Funny.

First time trick or treating in our new neighborhood.  It was a lot of fun.  Our neighbors had their fire pit out and had the Chiefs game on of course!
Cash, Tripp, Dylan, Logan and Riley here to save the day!!!

Tripp was loving it and was so cute.  He was running to keep up with Cash and Riley up and down each driveway.  He was so funny and I tried to get a video of him, but it was too dark.  Bummer.
Drew baby and her first Halloween!!!

Been awhile...

Can't believe its been so long since I have posted!
We have been pretty busy lately.
My computer is on its last leg so that doesn't help matters.
It takes me all night to get my pictures posted and then to find time to write too!
Forget it!
Which would explain why I am getting these pictures from the end of summer up now.

Cash and Riley's first day of preschool!!
She was a little nervous for her first day!
Poor Riles.

They did have a special treat waiting for them when they got home!

Drew baby!

Drew taking in her first Iowa game!
I love how I caught her so she looks like she is cheering the Hawks on with the crowd!

That is all for tonight.
I must go to bed so I can get up in a couple hours to cover somebody up, take somebody back to their own bed or put a pacifier back in.
Not complaining, just stating the facts.
A solid 8 hour nights sleep would be lovely.
Hope to be back with some Halloween pictures.
We have quite the crew hunting for candy this year!!!

Dancing Queen

Drew loves dancing lately.  Everytime she hears music and sometimes even when someone is singing, she starts wiggling around.  Its pretty cute.  I tried to get it on video.  Here is a short little clip of her new moves!

Stand for Spencer

I took this information from an article in the Kansas City Star...

The remains of Spc. Spencer Duncan returned to New Century Airport on Tuesday morning. As the family welcomes his body home, community group members are making sure his return is special.
Hundreds of people lined 151st Street between Ridgeview and Murlen in Olathe for the event called "Stand for Spencer."
Three years after enlisting, Spencer Duncan was deployed to Afghanistan. He had been there for less than three months before his Chinook Helicopter was shot down by Taliban forces.
Twenty-nine other Americans perished in the incident on August sixth. It's considered the deadliest attack on US troops in the wars history.
Three of the men killed, including Duncan, were from the Kansas City area

These pictures are from the "Stand for Spencer" facebook page.
It was an amazingly quite, very somber, but awesome mood along 151st as the procession drove by.
You could see the family riding in their cars behind Spencer's casket and they all just looked at us and cried as they passed by.
In one picture below, you can see one of the Patriot Guard members wiping away a tear as he was riding.
I remember seeing him with his hand over his face and that was one moment that definitely choked me up for sure.
It was very emotional to see all these people standing on the side of the road for this soldiers ride to the funeral home.
But, it was also very neat to be a part of.

These are a couple of the pictures that I took.
We stood at a less populated area.  I didn't want to take the kids into that crowd especially since they were expecting protesters.
It did end up getting pretty crowded by us though.
We stood in front of the hospital and a lot of employees came out to stand.
It was so awesome...if you don't mind me saying that again.
Really awesome.

I was glad to take the kids and stand for Spencer.
Cash kept asking me where the solider was.  I tried to explain, but he didn't quite get it.
We were there though and that is all that matters.
