Wedding Fun

My cousin, Laura was married a couple weeks ago in Iowa.
She had her reception here... http://saintscenter.com/index.html
The Saints Center used to be a church that was set on fire by an arsonist in 1995.
They restored the building and now use it for weddings, receptions and other events.
The Saints Center is so pretty and I wish I would have know the history behind the building before we went.
I took Riley, Tripp and Drew with me to the reception while Darin stayed home with Cash.
Darin coaches Cash's t-ball team and they had their first game that weekend.
So 3 of our kids had fun dancing the night away while Cash and his dad had a little bonding time.

The boys waiting for their turn to dance with the bride!

Tripp was quite the dancer. He would walk over to random people and want them to spin him around. He cut in between a few different couples while they were dancing and even had a small group of women listening to his instructions on when they could and could not dance.
He can be a little bossy. =)

Tripp really felt at home dancing with anyone that would take him, but he did have his favorite partner, little Miss Ellie.
Her mom is my cousin which would make Ellie and Tripp second cousins.
She is sweet and they were too cute.

A family wedding is a great event and I do enjoy getting to catch up with everyone.  Unfortunately, with 3 little ones running around, I didn't quite get in the amount of catching up I would have liked to, but the kids had so much fun.  They danced and played with all their cousins all night.  We made it until about 10:30 pm and then I had to get them back to the hotel before we had major meltdowns.  They would have stayed there forever and I hated to drag them away.
Til next time Nosbisch Fam...

Graduation

Cash and Riley officially graduated from preschool!
They had a ceremony at the church.  The kids sangs songs and received their "diplomas".
It was pretty cute.
Riley stayed up front on the risers with her class and she even sang...she had fun!
Unlike her school Christmas program which she enjoyed from the audience with me.
I was nervous about her performance at graduation, but she was right up front and loved it!
She wouldn't wear her cap, but I did get her to put it on for just one picture.
Cash was into messing around with his little friend next to him, but he had fun too!
Afterwards, we had cake and cookies which of course the kids loved!

5th Birthday...part 2

The weekend after Cash and Riley's Birthday, we were going to camp out in the backyard.  It was too hot to sleep out there, but we still got the fire pit going and roasted some hot dogs and marshmallows for smores.
Our friends, Liz and Cole came over with their little girl, Reagan and we all had a lot of fun.

Grandpa Mel was here too!

We even had glow in the dark necklaces, rings and bracelets to wear which the kids had fun with.

We had their birthday party on Sunday at Elite Gymnastics.
They had a huge trampoline, a rope swing, zipline, foam pit and more.
The kids played and then we had a snack and cupcakes.
Riley had horse toppers on her pink cupcakes and Cash picked Star Wars light sabers and rings for the tops of his chocolate cupcakes.

All the kids sang Happy Birthday to Cash and Riley.

We tried to get a group picture. We were missing a few of the kids, but we tried anyway!

I like this picture.
Riley is holding Lila's hand.
She is always around little boys.
Riley is one of only 3 girls in her preschool class and most of our neighbors and friends have little boys.
So when she gets a chance to play with some of the girls we know, she loves it!

Tripp was a little distraught that we sang Happy Birthday to Riley and then to Cash, but not him.
Our friend, Vinnie quickly came to the rescue and let him blow out his "candle" and all was well...until we opened presents.
That kid...I swear...he is a mess.

The birthday party was a success and the kids got a bunch of toys they didn't need, but loved!
We appreciate all our friends, big and small, who came to help us celebrate 2 of our favorite 5 year olds!!!
