Right before bedtime last night...

Riley was throwing a HUGE fit because Dadda turned off Wonder Pets without a fair warning. Anyway, she is on the floor having a major temper tantrum and Cash looks at me and Darin and says "why's Riley freakin out?"

Cracked us up...he is so funny.

Pumpkin Buddies

We finally decided it was time to give pumpkin carving a try. We got one pumpkin and a cute little kit with all the pumpkin carving tools. The kit also came with stencils of different designs you could put on your pumpkin.

We cut the top off and started pulling out all the stuff inside...or "guts" as Cash & Riley called it.

Tripp helped too...he held onto our light until we were ready to light up our creation!
Here he is! Tripp couldn't handle all the excitement and was in bed during picture time, but I am sure we will get one of him with his first Halloween pumpkin later. He turned out pretty well and that cute little pumpkin carving kit we bought,we didn't even use it. Money well spent. The stencils looked a little intense and we didn't have 2 hours to sit and cut it out. Cash and Riley like things done quickly or they lose interest, so we just free handed it.

My little pumpkin buddies...

Pumpkin Time!

So here is how they like to ride in the car...holding hands. Cute. This is a rare picture of Riley wearing the cute little poncho I got her for $5. She absolutely hated to put it on and really did NOT want to wear it, but I made her. =) Here is our big 11 month old! Can't believe he will be one next month!

Went to the pumpkin patch over the weekend. It was really cold as you can tell by Tripp's red little nose. They loved it though!

We went down a lot of different slides.

We rode the train.

Cash is trying to keep his hat over his ears. The wind was blowing so hard and he thought his hat might blow away.

Waiting for the pig races to begin!

Now its time to decide which pumpkin to take home!

Tripp loved riding in the backpack. Cash & Riley also loved that they were able to walk around and weren't strapped into the stroller for once.

You will have to excuse the mismatched hat and glove ensembles my children are wearing. I have yet to buy them their winter accessories for this year. We had to rummage through all our hats and gloves to find ones that would fit them. Who knew it would be so cold already?!

Tripp's First Haircut!!!

Before

After

He did really well during his haircut and sat very still! I miss his hair, but it is nice to not have to wrestle a ponytail into his hair every morning. He is getting to be a big boy!!!

Go Hawks!!!

Here is Tripp before his haircut...yes, I finally did it. I have my pictures uploaded to my computer, but having problems getting them uploaded to my blog. Ughh...soon, soon. Here are Riley & Cash enjoying their new fav...powdered sugar donuts. They love them!
What a great weekend. Iowa beat Michigan on Saturday and I did not change one single diaper today! It was a great day! Thank you Hawkeyes!!!

Cash Man

Already this morning Cash has told me that he "wants to play with dadda, no play with mama" and he has expressed his deep dislike for cargo pants. Yes, he is 2 & 1/2 and is already choosy about what he wears. Might be a long day!!!

Oh and I seem to have deleted my program that allows me to download my pictures onto my computer from my camera. Major bummer...especially since I can't find the cd so I can reload it. What should I do???!!!

Goodbye...

I can't get my pictures uploaded and its making me crazy!!! I think that I deleted the program when I was trying to rid my computer of a nasty virus. Very frustrating. I have the cutest pictures too.

Some of the pictures are of Tripp's new haircut!!! Yep, I finally took him in for his first haircut. Goodbye to the ponytail! It was a little emotional for me. Darin and I both liked his hair long. We loved his little ponytail even though everyone thought he looked like a girl, but it just always seemed to be hanging in his face so we thought it was time for a cut! He did really good and now officially looks like a little man. He went from a little baby with long, brown hair highlighted with some blonde streaks to a little boy with short, blonde hair! Its super cute, but I still miss his long locks.

Darin and I went to Colorado Springs for the weekend. Goodbye diapers, mac & cheese and cleaning up toys. Hello sleep, adult conversation and quietness! It was a work trip for Darin and I was invited to join him. My mom came to stay with the kids. We left Friday morning and came home on Sunday. It was a short trip, but it was fun. We went out to eat, slept in a little bit, took a nap and I read an entire book without any interruptions! I, of course, called home about every hour or so. The kids sound so little when you talk to them on the phone. We missed them a lot, but they had a lot of fun with Grandma. Thanks Grandma!!!

Hopefully I can get the picture thing figured out this evening after the kids go to bed. We will see!
